February 2016

Our next meeting will be February 13th, and our speaker will be Michael Brennand Wood, with his talk entitled Pretty Deadly.  If you look at his website I’m sure we are in for some eye candy.  This meeting will be the last one before our trip to the Sewing for Pleasure at NEC on 19th March, so if you’ve booked a place then please pay the rest of your money to Sheila, and if you’ve not booked but now want to go there are still a few places left.

Last month the speaker was Sue Stone, and we all left the meeting very inspired.  Her wonderful work with stitching is amazing.  Sue creates stunning pictures with stitches.

And December we has our very own Lyn for our speaker.  Lyn gave us a talk about what she does for a living. Lyn makes teaching aids for use in classes with children with disabilities.  Lyn also blogs about her crafty makes at http://liniecat.blogspot.co.uk/
