Stamford Bridge Tapestry Project The tapestry now has a permanent home at the Old Station on Church Road, Stamford Bridge and they are able to offer private visits to the Tapestry with a talk on the history of the Battle of Stamford Bridge, how the Tapestry came about and how it was stitched. If you are interested in visiting as a group they can offer a Wednesday in the daytime with tea, coffee and cake with a speaker for £5.00 a head.

If you would also like a lunch, then this may be possible through the Manager at the Old Station Club. Please email the Manager Mick at steward@theoldstationclub.co.uk. The Tapestry is in the room known as Platform 66 which is attached to the Old Station.

If you just want to come as an individual then platform 66 is open for tea, coffee and cake on most Tuesdays from 10 am to 2pm and on a Saturday from10.30 to 2pm. It is possible that there will be someone to answer your queries, but they cannot guarantee it unless you book as a group.
